Pereira is a Colombian municipality, capital of the department of Risaralda. It is the most populous city in the coffee axis region and the second most populous in the Paisa region, after Medellín; It forms the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Central West along with the municipalities of Dosquebradas, La Virginia. It is located in the central-western region of the country, in the valley of the Otún River in the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes.
